Australian naturopath Barbara O’Neill has been released after being taken into custody and questioned by authorities in Qatar, an incident she described in detail in a video posted to her official Instagram account.
O’Neill said the episode began around 9 p.m. when roughly eight men arrived at her accommodation, one of whom identified himself as being from Qatar’s Criminal Investigation Department, and told her she had to accompany them to the police station.
