Qatar has entered the international diamond-trading market with the launch of a purpose-built exchange bringing commercial, regulatory and security services together within the country’s airport free zone.
The Qatar Free Zones Authority announced the Qatar Diamond Exchange, or QDE, as a fully integrated platform for trading rough and polished diamonds and other precious stones.
